Welcome to the Marion County Chapter of Administrative Excellence

  History of MCCAE.......

        The Marion County Chapter of Administrative Excellence (MCCAE) was chartered at a formal installation ceremony held January 24, 2003 through the combined efforts of 15 charter members from various businesses throughout Marion County who share the ideals and goals of the International Association of Administrative Professionals®.  

        The MCCAE is a non-profit organization and is partially funded by the generosity of Corporate Sponsors who support the ideals of this organization.

        Monthly chapter meetings are held the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 5:30 p.m. at the I-79 Technology Park Research Center (formerly the ISR Building), 1000 Galliher Drive, Fairmont, WV.  Monthly meetings are designed specifically to meet the needs of our membership as they strive to grow personally and professionally and there is no cost to attend.

        The MCCAE is the regional chapter of the Virginia-West Virginia Division.  There are currently 12 members from Marion, Taylor, Monongalia and Upshur Counties.  The MCCAE is currently accepting memberships of administrative professionals from all WV counties, including Harrison, Marion, Taylor and Monongalia Counties.

About IAAP

The International Association of Administrative Professionals is a not-for-profit professional association for office professionals with approximately 40,000 members and affiliates and nearly 600 chapters worldwide. Our mission is to enhance the success of career-minded administrative professionals by providing opportunities for growth through education, community building and leadership development. The association founded in 1942 as the National Secretaries Association to provide a professional network and educational resources for secretarial staff. The association's name was changed in 1998 to the International Association of Administrative Professionals to encompass the large number of varied administrative job titles and recognize the advancing role of administrative support staff in business and government.
